We enjoy our occassional trips to Jackson but prefer to live away from the congestion and traffic. And on a lot more land than one could afford in Jackson Hole.
It is recreation heaven here - both summer and winter. Close by Henry's Fork, (Fly Fishing) Yellowstone Park, The Big Hole Mountains (world class mountain biking) kyaking, horseback riding and hiking. Winter of course is sking. If you love powder, Grand Targhee Ski Area gets over 500 inches of snow a year. Christmas 2003 skiers were using snorkels, the POWDER was that deep! And of course Jackson Hole Ski area is just an hour away. Targhee National Forest is less than a mile down the road for both cross country sking and summer recreation.
